Roger Albert Clark Rally 2021 (R.A.C.)
On this event we were running the cars of Chris Hellings ( GRP 2,MK1 Golf 1600 ) and the Mk2 Escort of Jerry Bailey ( GRP4,2L BDG injection )
Chris and Tim Hellings had a good result with 1st in class and 29th overall, with only a few minor issues during the event
Jerry Bailey and Alister Sinclair had an unlucky event, having to retire on the first evening with an under bonnet fire
3 Shires Rally 2019
2019 was the first running of the 3 Shires Rally which was held on closed public roads.
We were running the MGZR 1.8 of Chris Hellings and Glyn Thomas, car 94 who finished 44th overall out of 120 starters. Also competing were Nick Brown and Greg Evans in a Mk1 Escort 1600, car 65 who finished 60th . Darren Pool and Chris Beer in the Corsa 1600, car 34 who finished 34th and Tom Jones and Andy Connibear in a Honda Civic 1600, who finished 53rd overall.
Peking to Paris Rally ’16
The Mk1 Escorts we prepared for the gruelling Peking to Paris Rally
The Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2016 was held June 12th to July 17th, with 107 crews crossing the start line at the Great Wall of China in Beijing. Organised by the Endurance Rally Association, the competitors journeyed through eleven countries including Mongolia’s Gobi Desert, Russia and Belarus before entering Europe to reach the center of Paris. A total of 98 crews passed over the finish line after the 8,500-mile rally.
MIDNIGHT SUN RALLY. SWEDEN 2015
Midnattssolsrallyt was run initially for the first time in 1950 until the year 1964. In 2006 the first edition for historic rally cars was organized. Right now homologated rally cars up to and including 1981 can take part.
COY 153 T is an ex David Sutton car which we run for our customer Tom Coughtrie.
In 2015 we took the car over to Sweden to contest the Midnight Sun Rally.
Tom and co-driver Jamie Edwards finished 3rd in class D3, headed only by another Escort RS1800 and an Opel Ascona 400.
